This is basicly two differnt mixes from the DSOTM DVD Audio:

In the first one all tracks are set to showcase Richard Wright's keyboard parts to the front. Alot of his stuff was buried in the other sounds. Practicing archaeology I sifted through and brought the results to you. For example in Breathe (towards the end) you can hear the leslie spinning clearly and you can hear his keyboard parts very well.
Of course to get to this most of the vocals tracks are not there and there is still a bit of ghosting but nothing too annoying.

In the second one it is just alternate takes on the audio which I took a few more liberties with for the purpose of effect. Mostly I have included some of David Gilmour's guitar parts along side of the other tracks. There has been very little tinkering with the audio besides stationarily panning tracks and enhancing some of the audio. I tried to leave the music as true as possible so it can be heard clearly. On track 15 (Money) I added a background guitar (mirroring the main chords with heavy tremolo effect) but it's not too distracting. I originally didn't intend on sharing this so I did it for my own amusement. I appologise for this though.

These mixes may not be for everyone but for me I had heard the album hundreds of times and to hear it in a different way is like hearing it again for the first time.

Deze mix is speciaal gemaakt door een bewonderaar die na het overlijden van Wright deze mix heeft gemaakt. Zoals beschreven zijn hier de partijen van Rick naar voren gehaald en diverse outtakes voor gebruikt. Niet iets wat je regelmatig voorbij ziet komen dus...

Berichten zijn voor mij een stimulans....en voor de meesten van jullie een kleine moeite.
