Jake Raye, een ex-kickboxer, reist naar Manilla om zijn broer te zien vechten in een prestigieus toernooi. 
Als hij echter ziet hoe zijn broer op meedogenloze wijze wordt vermoord, 
besluit Raye om zijn broer te wreken door het toernooi te winnen. De moordenaar is immers ÚÚn van zijn tegenstrevers

Kickboxing champion Don "The Dragon" Wilson stars in Bloodfist. In time-honored fashion, 
Wilson arrives in Manila to investigate his brother's murder. 
There he stumbles upon a sinister secret society which thrives on illegal kickboxing tournaments and ends up in the ring himself, 
literally fighting for his life. Several sequels later followed
