Petersen's fame brought recording offers and although his singing voice was limited, he had hit record singles with songs "She Can't Find Her Keys", "Amy", and "Lollipops and Roses", as well as "My Dad" that made #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. He also recorded during the 1960s for Motown, including the singles "Chained" and "A Little Bit For Sandy".
Petersen's 1964 single "She Rides With Me" was produced by Beach Boys leader Brian Wilson and co-written by Wilson and Roger Christian. It is also notable for an innovative production feature, in which the background vocals and several backing instruments (including guitar and piano) were electronically treated by being channeled through a Leslie speaker. This is one of the earliest examples of this effect on a popular recording, and it certainly predates The Beatles' use of the same effect by approximately two years -- Abbey Road engineers first used the Leslie speaker to treat John Lennon's voice on "Tomorrow Never Knows", which was recorded in early April 1966.

Heeeeeeeeeeeel veeeeeeeeeeel luisterplezier met deze 2cd's van Paul Petersen

Ik kan me voorstellen dat er een hoop mensen zijn die nog nooit van paul petersen hebben gehoord (ikzelf trouwens ook niet),maar na het beluisteren van deze 2cd's  moet ik zeggen,het is zeker de moeite waard om het wel te doen.En vind je het toch helemaal niks is er 1 optie :DE PRULLENBAK
