Post Description
Heart Don't Lie was LaToya's third album. It is her most successful album to date, and the most critically acclaimed (together with her 1980 self-titled debut). The album features Howard Hewett on the title track and includes a cover version of Prince's "Private Joy", which LaToya does way better. LaToya and Amir Bayyan, the producer of the album, wrote the song together called "Reggae Nights", the song was going to be on the album but was instead cut from it. The song ended up being a Grammy-nominated single for Jimmy Cliff. She recorded the song herself for her 1991 album "No Relations". This album was released in the year of 1984.
