Episode 04 - "High and Dry" - Interior BC Rainbow Trout Fishing

We finished recording this episode in late August! We had a fantastic trip to interior BC. Ran into a few friends on the river and in the pub...good times. Nothing like a cold beer after 10 hours casting in 36C heat! The rainbow trout were elusive at times; however, we prevailed and had a fantastic trip!

We captured over 15 dry fly takes and have some incredible footage to share! Imagine slow motion dry fly takes... zoomed in shots focussed on drifting dry flies that get hammered by big aggressive rainbow trout. Long, reel punishing runs far into the backing. Look the fish in the eye as it slashes (and often misses) our dry fly patterns! If any of this makes sense to you...watch Episode 04.


Episode 05 - "River of No Return" - Steelhead Fishing on the Salmon River, Idaho

After much deliberation we decided to take BCextremeHD "on the road". I guess the decision was rather easy, as how could we say no to spey fishing on the gorgeous Salmon River ("river of no return") in southeastern Idaho with Lee Davison (CND Custom Designs and Snake River Outfitters)?! If you like fly fishing for steelhead, or even just steelheading in general, you will quickly fall in love with the Salmon River! Long, sweeping runs with medium depth...lazy tailouts...easy wading...spectacular desert hills and rolling plains...and over 60,000 steelhead in the system. Now you understand why we went south!
