Jan Ackerman - Dutch guitar player, born December 24, 1946 in Amsterdam. The first time picked up a guitar at the age of 5 years. C 11 years played in the rock bands The Friendship Sextet, Johnny & the Cellar Rockers (with which he recorded his first single), The Hunters and Brainbox. In the second of these ensembles, he played with drummer Pierre van der Linden, and in the latter, the only self-titled album released by Polydor in 1969, he played with van der Linden and singer Kaz Lux. The first solo album Talent for Sale recorded while still a member of The Hunters. This international success came with participation in the group Focus, with which he recorded several albums.
