Spotnet is open source (see weblink) and created by Drazix.

The source code in IL, C# and VB from Spotnet 1.8.1:
spotnet.exe (GUI)
spotclient.dll (Client)
phuse.dll (NNTP Library)

Can be used for:
- New Spotnet clients,
- Fix known Spotnet bugs,
- Translate to other language,
- Change the graphical user interface (gui),
- Enable adding X-Newsreader to the header,
- Update other Spotnet clients for better compatibility,
- re-enable removed choices for spotting and filters.
- Enhance Spotnet and stay compatible with older clients.
