"Notes: CD 2: 20 -22 recorded at State Fair Coliseum, Jackson / Mississippi, June 9, 1975
FTD listed the show on CD 2 wrongly as June 10 - 1975, Afternoon Show.
Concert: This time the FTD team surprised us with a pair of shows Elvis gave in his hometown Memphis, Tennessee in 1974 and 1975. Tour 9 which lasted from March 1 till March 20, 1974 and which was made up of a total of 24 shows developed to one of the most favourite among FTD collectors and so the March 17, 1974 ES is a good choice and a great addition to any "live" collection. Elvis is in top condition and delivers a top show. His home audience went nuts from the beginning and a move with his little finger caused riots in the hall. The super star had everything under his control and he knew how to twist the crowd around his little finger. Among the many highlights are song like: Trying To Get To You, Steamroller Blues, Help Me, An American Trilogy or That's All Right.
The other concert stems from June 10, 1975 ES and belongs to tour 14 which lasted from May 30 till June 10, 1975 with a total of 17 shows. Another fans favourite. Picking the closing show of the tour in Memphis is also a great move by FTD and Co. Even a year later Elvis was still in fine form and the crowd as crazy as ever. We have a vibrant performance throughout and a good song line-up with highlights like Burning Love, T-R-O-U-B-L-E, the incredible How Great Thou Art or Let Me Be There. All in all highly recommendable. Thanks Ernst !" (Source: Elvisoncd.com)
