TSS is proud to announce the TSS MD8X JT8D Soundpack for FSX, this features the sound cones in FSX, so you can enjoy the sound from every angle.
With this soundpack, we have captured all the best sound moments , and put them together, to combine a truly stunning representation of the JT8D engine.

This soundpack works perfectly with the default FSX MD-83, so this would be a great sound upgrade for that.
This soundpack can also be used with other MD-80 addons.

The TSS MD8X JT8D internal sounds are a mix of recordings from different views, because the MD8X is very quiet from the cockpit, so we have created it to be " Audible friendly " so you can hear and

enjoy the engine sounds from the cockpit!
All engine sounds are recorded few feet away from the engines of SAS and DAT MD8X`s
Besides the real high quality recordings of the engines, this sound also includes:

MD-81 (DC-9-81)
Originally the Super 81, basic production variant with two 18,500 lb thrust JT8D-209 engines.
MD-82 (DC-9-82)
Originally the Super 82, variant for hot and high operations with 20,000 lb thrust JT8D-217 engines and increased maximum take off weight.
MD-83 (DC-9-83)
Long-range version with 21,000 lb thrust JT8D-219 engines.
MD-87 (DC-9-87)
Short fuselage variant of the MD-80 with electronic flight instrumentation first flown in 1987.
