While the first volume of this series dealt with French battleships, aircraft carriers, cruisers, destroyers, torpedo boats and submarines, this second volume covers in detail the remainder of the French Navy: sloops, corvettes, submarine chasers, MTB's, mine sweepers, gun boats, seaplane tenders and all Naval auxiliaries.
Written and compiled by Henri le Masson, an internationally acknow­ledged French naval expert and his­torian, this work is based on authentic documents - including hitherto un­published material from French naval archives - and thus presents the most compact and accurate survey of the fighting ships of the French Navy 1939-45 and their individual fates during and after the Second World War.
