EA SPORTS annual hardball offering heads for home with new features 
  and a few surprises in this 2002 edition. Play through a single game, 
  a whole season, a heated playoff drive, or in the new "Home Run Derby" 
  mode, which challenges the leagues biggest sluggers to pound as many 
  out of the park as possible before taking 10 outs. The games overall 
  presentation has been redesigned and, for the first time, 
  award-winning broadcaster Bob Costas provides play-by-play while ESPN 
  analyst Harold Reynolds gives color commentary. The games graphics 
  have also been enhanced, with more detailed animation and 3D head 
  scans of each player. Virtual ballparks have been redesigned to more 
  accurately represent their real-life counterparts. Even the control 
  scheme has been refined, for quicker reactions and better analog 
  sensitivity. Of course, some aspects are best left unchanged as in 
  previous years, this edition of Triple Play is licensed by MLB and the 
  MLBPA to include all the teams and players based on the most recent 
  (2002) schedules and rosters.
