Synopsis:

DC Comics' legendary Man of Steel soars into action in this animated Saturday morning series produced by Ruby-Spears Productions.

Using such familiar elements as the opening narration of the popular live-action Adventures of Superman TV series and reorchestrated versions of John Williams' memorable themes from the theatrical feature Superman, these rousing adventures were highlighted by classic showdowns between Superman and nemesis Lex Luthor - reinvented as a billionaire industrialist brimming with corporate greed. 

This 2-Disc, 13-Episode Collection also includes a the end of each installment glimpses into the Superman Family Album, humorous vignettes starring Clark Kent with full super power as a child and teen growing up in Smallville.
