This is the most recent Renault Carminat Navteq map DVD, version V30.1 [2010-2011], compatible with different Renault models from 2005-now with the factory Carminat DVD system. 

NOT compatible with TomTom Carminat navigation!

This package contains: 1 DVD + system upgrade CD

This DVD features:
- 1,953,566 km of road coverage
- 9,033 points of interest such as petrol stations, airports, hotels and restaurants  
- Improved traffic message coverage 

Map DVD contains: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, CzechRepublic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

This new map DVD disc will also automatically update your vehicles navigation system to display an improved menu design with new map display. Simply insert the included disc into your system for an instant system update.

The upgrade CD will install a completely new menu option for speed camera GPS localization.

Instructions:

- The torrent contains 2 folders: "CD" and "DVD"
- Burn all files from folder "CD" in the root of a good quality CDR disc
- Burn all files from folder "DVD" in the root of a good quality DVD+R Dual layer disc. Verbatim is recommended
- It must be a DVD+R disc, DVD-R will not work in your car
- Burn at the SLOWEST possible speed, with the following options: UDF/ISO mode, NO multisession, ISO 9960. Nero is recommended
- Remove the old map DVD from your car DVD player and insert the upgrade CD
- Extremely important: leave the engine running during the complete upgrade process in order to avoid ignition switch off, which will potentially cause a fatal system crash!!
- Wait untill the upgrade process is completely finished. 
- This will take several minutes and the system will restart itself
- Follow the instructions on the screen
- Insert the V30 DVD and you will have the latest V30.1 map including speed camera warnings

Note1: due to the upgrade process with the CD, the system language can be automatically set to French (was the case with my system). You can easily correct this back to your own language by selecting this in the menu (button "SET") 

Note2: due to the upgrade process with the CD, any voice tags you had recorded for telephone and navigation will be erased. You will have to record these again unfortunately
