Marie Dionne Warwick (born December 12, 1940) is an American singer and actress who became a United Nations Global Ambassador for the Food and Agriculture Organization, and a United States Ambassador of Health. 
Best known for her partnership with Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Warwick ranks among the 40 biggest hit makers of the entire rock era (1955-1999), based on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Singles Charts. According to Billboard Magazine, Warwick ranks second only to Aretha Franklin as the most charted female vocalist with 56 singles making the Billboard Hot 100 between 1962 and 1998. 

This DVD contains one of the greatest teams in all of popular recording, Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick, in a very rare and special live event from a fabled venue, New York City's glittering Rainbow Room. Bacharach and Warwick join forces to review and duet on Burt's greatest songs - which Dionne has made so fully her own that it is always hard to separate singer from song. Their shared artistry is so great that the concert is packed with gems: 'Walk On By,' 'Do You Know The Way To San Jose?' 'Alfie,' 'I Say A Little Prayer,' 'What The World Needs Now,' and many, many more. With Burt at the piano, and a full, highly sophisticated orchestra providing beautiful atmosphere, Dionne is in superb voice. Related composers from Carole Bayer Sager to Andre Previn also get attention - as do some songs, like the Carpenters' 'Close To You,' that are associated with other singers. But it always comes back to the winning pairing of Bacharach and Warwick.
