"In this three-part documentary, Stephen Tompkinson ( Ballykissangel ) embarks on the journey of a lifetime across the African continent in a hot air balloon. Inspired by Jules Verne's first novel Five Weeks in a Balloon, THE GREAT AFRICAN BALLOON ADVENTURE follows Tompkinson as he travels coast to coast through Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. The crew travels a total of 6,108 miles and five countries during the span of six short weeks."
