Post Description
Na alle mooie DVDA's van Porcupine Tree wil ik natuurlijk wat terug doen. Daarom deze fantastische bootleg van een soundboard opname van de Lightbulb sun tour.
enkele reviews:
Great representation of the 2001 Tour. I wasn't as pleased with the setlists on this tour, probably because I like a lot of their records better than Lightbulb Sun. Nonetheless, this is a primo sbd recording. A lot of times soundboards sound a little "thin" to me, but not this one. Highlights for me include: A solid "Even Less" opener, energetic "Up the Downstair", an OUT OF THIS WORLD "Russia On Ice" -probably my favorite of the set; the second gives you a nice "Narcotic", groovy Tinto Brass, and a sweetass Voyage 34 (short version).
Get this for the pristine "Russian on Ice" alone.\

Fantastic 2 CD-R bootleg of the Nearfest 2001 set in the Zoeliner Art Centre, Bethlehem, PA on the 23rd June 2001. One of the great highlights of this for me was the recorded banter that front man Steven Wilson has with the audience, with one of my favorite one liners being ''It's kinda difficult to rock out in front of a seated audience'', which I thought was funny. A super recording featuring some of their classic back catalogue.
Set List (Disk 1): Even Less; Slave Called Shiver; Shemovedon; Up The Downstairs; Lightbulb Sun; Last Chance To Evacuate Plant Earth Before It's Recycled; Russia On Ice; Pure Narcotic; Where Would We Be; Hatesong; (Disk 2:) Tinto Brass; Stop Swimming; Voyage 34 and Radioactive Toy.
