Being in my mid 60s I have a fondness for 1960s music which was current when I was a teenager. It has stood the test of time and in my view remained without equal in the decades which followed. Browsing through 60s CDs I have found that not all are what they seem. Often, the music is not the original track performed by the original group. This is usually discovered in very small print after the CD was purchased and I have learned the hard way to read the small print very carefully. Another irritation is that many of the tracks on a 60s CD are B sides with a few well known good ones thrown in, and often the songs you are really searching for are absent. This is where the Solid 60s Greatest Hits comes up trumps as it is packed with really good material, including some tracks I've been looking for for some time. It isn't perfect - some not so good tracks are here and some I would have liked to have seen on its list of 60, I continue to search for, but despite this it is a really good compilation which I very strongly recommend.
