'Life goes on' follows a story from novel 7 which takes place when Kino is still in training with the Master.

The incomplete version of the movie was shown at the "tokyo kokusai entertainment market" (entama) festival on the 23.10.2004.
The complete version was sold with the novel (limited edition) starting the 30.03.2005.
