AR Rahman rocks in Delhi

New Delhi: Music maestro AR Rahman performed at his much anticipated concert in Delhi on Saturday evening to an enthralled audience. 

Rahman with the help of a few friends from the musical fraternity left no stone unturned to give close to 10,000 people a performance that more than justified his iconic status.

Every track was performed live with no space for lip-syncing. Rahman was also at his interactive best and revisited almost all the anthems that people have been chanting over the years. 

In all it was an experience Delhi had been waiting for. It was also a curiosity ender for the thousands who have always wondered what a Rahman concert is all about and why he is adored worldwide. 

The musician was performing for the Fever 104 concert in which playback singers Kailash Kher, Hari Haran, Madhushree, Chitra, Sivamani and others took part.

The musical extravaganza which started an hour late than scheduled, had an orchestra of 50 instrumentalists and 22 singers whose energy had the crowd roaring for more.
