Op 3 juni heeft Dexys het album ‘Let The Record Show Dexys Do Irish and Country Soul’ uitgebracht.

Volgens frontman Kevin Rowland had zijn band de ideeën voor deze plaat al half jaren '80, maar de plannen werden niet verder uitgevoerd aangezien Dexys Midnight Runners kort daarna splitte.

In 2012 kwam er de reünie als Dexys en werd 'One Day I'm Going To Soar' uitgebracht, het eerste album in zevenentwintig jaar.

Nu komt daar dus een vervolg op. ‘Let The Record Show Dexys Do Irish and Country Soul’ is de vijfde langspeler van de band.
