[B]LAM (Linheas Aereas do Mozambique), the national carrier of Mozambique was founded in 1936 as DETA.
In November 1980 the name was changed to LAM Mozambique Airlines.
LAM provides service on domestic and regional routes with a fleet
of Boeing 737-200's as well as a mix of regional aircraft including the Embraer 120 and Jetstream 41.
Intercontinental routes are operated with the Boeing 767-200.
This program takes you on the different kinds of routes operated from LAM's
main base at Maputo Airport on its 4 main types of aircraft.
Included are its European route, regional routes to Tanzania and
South Africa as well as domestic flights to more than half a dozen destinations.[/B]
