The final episode is where viewers see inside Alan Alda?s head and learn about the human brain which is capable of high level skills, language, and other uniquely human traits. What he discovers is that the human ability to imagine is unique to the species.

Alda explained to the journalists about another uniquely human trait. ?We heard [from scientists] over and over again that probably no other animals relate the way we do in trying to understand what's going on in the other mind?
This is a fascinating series and Alan Alda is a fun host. He was genuinely interested in this discovery and takes viewers right along on his journey. As he seeks out the one thing that makes humans different from other beings, he travels through history and around the globe to learn the origins of the species.
