The debut album from Kathryn’s new touring ensemble ‘The Side’ featuring Louisa Tuck – cello, Ruth Wall – harps, Amy Thatcher – accordion (and of course Kathryn – Northumbrian pipes & fiddle). And there's a song on there too...!

A varied album featuring pieces by classical composers Henry Purcell and Percy Grainger as well as traditional and self-penned tunes. A blissful blend of instruments and genres. Listen out for the guest appearances by leader of the Royal Northern Sinfonia, violinist Bradley Creswick and also from Sting’s long-time associate, guitarist Dominic Miller, as well as some nice touches from another of Louisa’s Royal Northern Sinfonia colleagues – percussionist Marney O'Sullivan.
