Cineversity (C4D): MoDynamics Medical Logo Animation
150 MB |

This tutorial uses CINEMA 4D 11.5 and Adobe After Effects.

In this tutorial series, we'll create a medically-themed logo treatment with a time-release capsule. The capsule ***s open, and its contents spill out dynamically to reveal a logo.

Pt1: In part 1 of the series, you'll model the capsule and add the pills using the Cloner in Volume mode. You'll set the objects up for MoDynamics, which will ensure that the pills within the capsule don't overlap.

Pt2: In this tutorial, you'll learn some techniques for texturing transparent objects as we set up materials for the capsule. You'll also learn decal mapping techniques to add alogo to the front of the capsule, and how to restrict the output of the Random Effector to a desired color range for the pills.

Pt3: In this tutorial, you'll add some basic animation and create a simplified MoDynamics simulation. You'll also learn various techniques for starting an animation from a collided state.

Pt4: In this tutorial, you'll learn how to reveal the logo within the MoDynamics simulation using the Inheritance Effector and Follow Animation.

Pt5: In this tutorial, you'll add some additional clones to the simulation as visual noise to improve the overall look. You'll also tweak some other aspects of the simulation and scene.

Pt6: In this tutorial, you'll learn how to add a camera move using Chris Smith's CS_EasyCam2 preset, which is included in the Broadcast Extension Kit.

Pt7: In this tutorial, you'll learn how to tweak the antialiasing and define basic render settings. You'll also learn how to output a Motion Vector pass and Object Buffers, and composite the project with Real Smart Motion Blur in Adobe After Effects.
