Description :
This DTS-CD is converted using the newest methods available today.
Dolby Prologic II x/z is a proven technology and therefore also standard on most Home Theatre Systems.
There are however two advantages with upmixes like these.
1) The different levels (Front,Center,Rear) are corrected in a way that the surround experience will be optimized.
2) The reference software decoding will have a maximum quality.
Some DSP's in (cheaper) HTS are simply not that good.

Dolby Prologic will sound very natural and clear as the original Stereo CD.
No addition (personal) enhancements, boosting or delays are applied.

Additional Info :
Because a lot of people do not have a DVD-A player I have made a DTS-CD version of the Extended Limited Edition of Graceland.

There is no need to download or store more than 2.5gB if a 550mB DTS-CD is also fullbitrate DTS.
Actually a DTS-CD plays far more convenient than a DVD which most often has to be accessed via menu's.

Furthermore it is for an upmix quite unnecessary to have a 48kHz/24bits "lossless" 5.1 DVD-A audio stream since the source is 16 bits (Audio-CD).
The quality is as good as the weakest link which is 44.1kHz/16 bits.
Actually an additional resampling step from 44.1kHz (CD) to 48kHz (DVD) is not needed for a DTS-CD.

DVD-A and also SACD is passT because Blu-Ray is now for the High-Res (lossless) audio formats the new standaard.
No new matarial will come out on DVD-A or SACD !!!
