Burton took over the famous Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado on September 15, for the world premiere of its new video Standing Sideways, filling the venue with hundreds of snowboarding fans. There was a red carpet, multiple bars, and Burton's pro riders signing autographs.

Standing Sideways is different than past Burton videos. This time they made a full-on snowboard video and gave riders actual parts. One of the most anticipated parts of the night was Japanese sensation Kazu Kokubo. Both Danny Davis and Jussi Oksanen exclaimed that his part was the one they were the most excited to see, and Kazu did not disappoint-that dude absolutely killed it. Other highlights include rail shredding from Ethan Deissand Alex Andrews; Terje Haakonsen simply being captured riding; Mark Sollors, Mikey Rencz, and Jeremy Jones destroying the Tahoe and Whistler Backcountry; and Jussi Oksanen's amazing ender part.
