Jakko Jakszyk’s 2020 solo release Secrets & Lies combines sensitive songwriting and stunning musical technique.
 
Featuring Jakko’s King Crimson bandmates, Robert Fripp, Gavin Harrison, Tony Levin and Mel Collins, as well as contributions from John Giblin, Mark King and Peter Hammill, three of the album’s 11 songs originate in King Crimson writing sessions. 
 
Boasting a cinematic production and highlighting Jakko's fluid guitar work and emotional vocals, Secrets & Lies is a heartfelt and mature work that explores topics such as obsession, betrayal, the shifting grounds of contemporary politics, and the tangled threads of family history.
