Three Dog Night was een Amerikaanse rockband. 

Opgericht in 1967.

    Michael Allsup (gitaar)
    Floyd Sneed (drums)
    Joe Schermie (bas)
    Jimmy Greenspoon (keyboards) († 2015)

De band telde zeven leden, waaronder drie zangers en twee toetsenisten. De band werd ondersteund door Brian Wilson van The Beach Boys. Oorspronkelijk heette de band Redwood. 

Ze hadden 21 TOP 40 Hits.
