Het is een lesbische verhaal over Ana en Teresa.

Amar en Tiempos Revueltos ("Love in Difficult Times") is a soap opera set in the years of the Spanish civil war and Franco dictatorship. While that is a feat in itself - setting a story a couple decades ago and making it believable - tackling a story of friendship and love between two women, Ana and Teres, in those times is something to be commended for. 

The show is currently in its fifth season and has been featuring the developing relationship between Ana (Marina San José) and Teresa (Carlota Olcina) since their initial meeting at the end of the third season (the years 1948 through 1950).
