Ep. 5: As Sylvia is made homeless, it looks like Phyl and Bev might come to the rescue. Meanwhile, Di is angered by Neil's homosexual lifestyle and Buki attempts to track-down her son. 

Ep. 6: Di comes up with a bizarre artificial insemination plan when Neil refuses to sleep with her, as she is still desperate to have a child. Phyl and Bev's latest scam is the production of Chateau Larkhall. Neil takes a risk by appointing Snowball as his orderly; Hedges steals some confiscated drugs and Karen tries to scupper Jim's chances of promotion after Larkhall is privatised. Also, Yvonne discovers Colin's secret. 

Ep. 7: A protest against privatisation becomes intense as Christopher Biggins is taken hostage and the inmates and officers await the final decision on Larkhall's future. 

Ep. 8: Colin comforts Yvonne at Ritchie's funeral, but Jim remains vengeful. And Julie S has some bad news, as a cancerous lump is found in her breast.
