In this program Marc Ponsot, one of the top carp angler in France, takes Alan Taylor & friends to the famous River Seine where some of the worlds biggest carp have been caught. They fish one of the many barrages, which area a main feature of this ?Royal? river, a few kilometres north of Fontainebleau.

Marc demonstrates the methods which have proved so successful for him in the past when has caught many huge carp to 57lb pounds (26kilos) from the river.

Location of fish, pre-baiting, ground baiting and many other methods are proven to work by the capture of several carp including three over 20 pounds (14kilos).

This film with a difference and one that has an unusual and highly entertaining ending!
