Cantaloupe Collector is filled with great designs, good animation that works well for each scene, a variety to the scenes and a number of scenes so there's a lot to like here. Perhaps it was watching really bad hentai before this that made this feel better than it is, but I found Cantaloupe Collector to be a very accessible show to newer fans and something really well done that older fans can experience and enjoy. There isn't a lot of story to be had here and Yoichi is one of the luckiest bastards out there, but he's not a creep guy with huge designs or plans in the work here. He simply lucks into regular encounters with attractive women - and pays for it in the end, though I'm not sure he's really complaining. This was a fun title that I wish there were more like it.
