FIFA MANAGER 10 – World Cup Mode is a free update for FIFA MANAGER 10 that lets the user enjoy the thrill and atmosphere of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™. Do you have what it takes to become manager of the football champions of the world?
FIFA MANAGER 10 is required to play the update. The new mode is then available from FIFA MANAGER’s main menu.
A full 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ play through just takes between 20 minutes and 3 hours depending on the user’s style of play. It is an ideal game mode especially for novice football management players.
Game Modes
Up to 4 players on 1 PC can participate in the FIFA World Cup™, selecting either one of the original 32 participants, or creating custom tournaments. The user can either stick to the original groups, or create a very own tournament. What would have happened if Ireland had qualified in Paris? All countries are available, and the users can have a random group draw, using the original seeding rules, as well as create group compositions of their own choice. Text commentaries during the group draw will unveil if two group opponents share a common history in previous tournaments.
The original team nominations will be included (as far as know until the completion of the update), including stats and several hundred player pictures. The managers can then either stay with these nominations, or select the squad of their own choice. Do you want to have a try with young, hungry players, or would you like to rely on a team of international veterans? It"s up to you!
Match Presentation
All matches can be played in either Live Ticker, Videotext, 3D or 3D highlight mode.
South Africa
The original tournament mode will of course be included, as well as pictures of all the original stadiums.
The new mode also includes interesting information about all cities that serve as a host for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™.
Tournament Status
A new statistical section gives the manager the perfect overview on the progress of the tournament.
Historic Results
The FIFA World Cup™ mode includes a complete database of the historic results of previous FIFA World Cups™. Each match preview will give you a list of former encounters with the upcoming opponent during previous tournaments, dating back until the year 1930, when the first FIFA World Cup™ was played.
