Based on the famous "Strange Tales" (Liao2 Zhai1 Zhi4 Yi4).  A naive young tax collector stumbles into a spooky castle,where he falls in love with a beautiful woman who, unfortunately, is dead. Their supernatural affair is further complicated by the evil Tree Demon. Aided by a fierce swordsman, our trusty tax man descends into hell to fight for the spirit he loves.
