The story takes place in a future European city where Mihai Mihaeroff &#151; a former assassin, Badou Nails &#151; a chain-smoking one-eyed mercenary, Fuyumine Naoto &#151; a katana-wielding female orphan, and Heine Rammsteiner &#151; a genetically altered albino gunman, ply their deadly trades on the streets and in the underground.
