Happy Endings weaves multiple stories to create a witty look at love, family and the sheer unpredictablity of life itself. 

This is a top notch Hollywood comedy which entangles numerous plots including a couple of gay storylines. Snuggable Jason Ritter is a closet case who is being threatened with being "outed" by a
goldigging schemer (Maggie Gyllenhaal) who is targeting his wealthy, smitten father (Tom Arnold). Meanwhile another gay guy strives to prove that the resemblance between his lover and the child of their lesbian best friends is because they stole his boyfriend's baby batter.

Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe from "Friends") is nifty as the central character swirling in all the dysfunction.  Sexy Jesse Bradford plays a skungy, inept extortionist/student. Hunky Bobby Cannavale is the masseur who delivers the title's "Happy Endings".
