NOTES
The second of two nights at the Cat's Cradle for Alejandro Escovedo's hard rock band, opening for Son Volt. On this tour the band
includes Alejandro's brother Javier, who had been in the True Believers. Javier took lead vocals on his song "Marianne." A big
highlight from each night was their fantastic cover of "Shine a Light" by the Rolling Stones, and on the second night, a
personal highlight was when Alejandro called up Chip Robinson and Brad Rice of the Backsliders to help on Neil Young's
"Powderfinger."
Given how amazingly loud they played the recording is quite good, though the vocals are a bit buried at times.
