Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai (Hindi: मुझे कुछ कहना है, Urdu: مجھے کچھ کہنا ہے, translation: I have something to say) is a 2001 Bollywood romance film directed by Satish Kaushik, and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The film stars Tusshar Kapoor in his debuting role, opposite Kareena Kapoor. It was a remake of the 1998 Telugu movie Tholi Prema. Released on 25 May 2001, the film was a surprise hit at the box office.

Plot:
The film is based on the life of young teenager Karan (Tusshar Kapoor). Even though Karan fails at studies, he performs excellent music with his band. Whilst on a journey, Karan spots Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) on the street, and falls in love with her at first sight. Then on, Karan searches day and night for Pooja but finds no sign. When losing hope, Karan quits music and goes to a different city and locates with his uncle. On his way there, his car breaks down, and he hitches a ride from a stranger, and is shocked to find out that the driver is Pooja. During the drive, a truck hits the car which falls into a valley. Karan and Pooja hang by the edge of the cliff but Karan saves Pooja before his hands slip and he falls down.
After gaining consciousness, Pooja realizes it was her fault that Karan died and searches for his body. Meanwhile, Karan is found by a man and is taken to a hospital. He is reunited with his family, and starts thinking about how he should have confessed his love. Karan now focuses on his studies instead of music, and soon enough, Pooja turns up at his door apologizing to him, and offering him to start a friendship. Joyful Karan accepts and the two become great friends. Soon, Pooja tells Karan that she is leaving to America to complete her studies. Devastated, he finally confesses that he loves her.
