A hypnotic power overcomes an alarmingly high number of youths, turning them into mindless zombies who await their transportation to a new world. Attempting to follow the path of his missing granddaughter, Dr. Bernard Quatermass (John Mills) becomes wise to this cult and attempts to alert authorities who strongly doubt such a possibility could exist. Quatermass is joined by a group of concerned scientists who band together to break up this cult and save the world"s young people.
