"Fight for This Love" is first solo single by British pop singer Cheryl Cole, best known as a member of British girl group Girls Aloud and been a judge on reality TV show The X Factor. The song was written and produced by Wayne Wilkins, Steve Kipner and co-written by Andre Merritt, was released as the first single from Cole's debut solo studio album 3 Words on 19 October 2009.
According to Cole it was released as the lead single because she "connected with the song so well". Following a performance on The X Factor live results show, "Fight for This Love" became the fastest-selling single of 2009 in the UK. It charted at number one on both the Irish and UK Singles Chart
