Synopsis
Maria Oosawa, a photographer from Japan, is visiting Shanghai with her partner Minoru Minorikawa to investigate possible news-worthy stories. One day during a festival, there appears to be something mysterious going on behind the scenes. However, when trying to cover the story, she gets caught up in a battle between some masked men and a woman.

Just as Maria is about to be killed, the woman helps her to escape, and to her suprise, the woman is an old friend of hers called Canaan. A gifted assassin with synesthesia, who is under orders from an unknown organization for a yet unspecified mission.
