2011 has so far seen The Quotes release their highly anticipated album 'State of Activity' along with the video to first single 'Gypsy Man', play at the prestigious music venue the O2 Indigo, make headlines by playing a live show from a boat on the Thames to thousands of fans at Reading Festival and play numerous sold-out shows across the country. 

Next year is proving to be even busier with more high profile shows and festival appearances, a further album track video release, and writing the next album!
In 2010, the band released their music video for album track ‘Innocent Flow’, gave a stand-out performance at Let's Rock the Moor festival in May, have slots at several BBC Introducing nights, and play The Proud Galleries in Camden, amongst numerous other shows.

2009 began with a string of European dates, and saw The Quotes play support slots for, amongst others, The Charlatans. In July, they released The Monte Rosa EP with two sold-out nights at one of their hometown’s most established music venues.
