Kenny Rogers' 'The First 50 Years' celebration on the Great American Country network promises to be a star-studded affair. You can expect a night that honors such a prolific artist as Rogers to be filled with many of his hits, but will Kenny actually perform?

'The First 50 Years, which airs tonight (Tuesday, March 8, 8:30pm ET) on GAC, has a line-up that includes Dolly Parton, Billy Currington, Alison Krauss, Tim McGraw, Lionel Richey, Smokey Robinson, Darius Rucker, Wynonna, Sheena Easton, Chris Isaak, and original members of the First Edition.  They will all be singing some of Kenny's extensive catalog of hits. 

Kenny will also take the stage to sing 'The Gambler' and 'Islands in the Stream.'  You gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em.  Clearly after 50 years, it is not yet time for Kenny Rogers to walk away or even run!  One thing is for sure: country music fans will be running to the TV to catch this special music event honoring a legend!
