Post Description
David Youldon is an Englishman with a passion for lions and a determination to stem their decline before it’s too late. Numbers of wild African lions have dropped by as much as 80% in the last 50 years and David and his colleagues at the African Lion & Environmental Research Trust are amongst those fighting to halt the process. They run a controversial programme in which captive-bred lions are encouraged to develop their natural skills so they can live independently and their cubs can be released into the wild.

Five-month-old cubs Jabari and Jelani are trained to hunt.
