William Byrd: Mass, Magnificat
Arvo Pärt: Magnificat-antiphons, Arbos, Summa, Pari Intervallo 

An enchanting combination of these two polyfonic masters from different era's. 
All these Pärt transcriptions are achingly lovely; and in the Magnificat-Antiphons there are moments of almost painful beauty. (...) The Byrd, too, is revelatory in this new guise (...), and, most gloriously of all, the Five Part Mass, sober and strangely luxurious. Small wonder that Jan Nuchelmans records in his notes that the most beautiful rendering of the Ockeghem Missa Fors Seulement was Calefax's.
