Michael Katon
Moulin Blues Festival
Ospel, Netherlands
03 May 2008
Brought up in the Ann Arbor area of Michigan, Michael Katon honed his craft listening to Blues greats Elmo James, Sonny Boy Williams and Muddy Waters. His rock influences went from Cream, Led Zeppelin and The Who to Midwestern icons Cactus, Johnny Winter and Leslie West. As Michael carved his style he took a little from them all. Here is his set from the Moulin Blues Festival 3-May-2008. Joining him on this tour is legendary Detroit drummer Johnny "Bee" Badanjek. The video was given to Michael after his set. I've been working to get MK to allow me to share some of his video's,he finally agreed. Hope you enjoy.
