Post Description
When Henry Tudor won the Battle of Bosworth it was a turning point in English history. Tony Robinson discovers that what a team of archaeologists has learned about the site in the past five years may force us to revise any romantic notions of medieval warfare fought by knights in shining armour. The experts believe the battle was fought in a different place to the official site and that far more gunpowder weapons were used. To test the theory the team build replica canons and deploy sophisticated cameras to examine soldiers' remains.
