In this groundbreaking documentary, biologist Liz Bonnin and a team of scientists embark on a mission to Siberia to film Siberian tigers in the wild. Time is of the essence for the scientists and filmmakers gathering in a remote Siberian outpost in the depths of winter. Russian scientists estimate that only 300 to 350 of these big cats remain in the wild, and the only way to protect them is to first find them.

Capturing the world's rarest tiger on videotape to better understand its behavior may be the best way to protect it from poachers and loss of habitat. When three orphaned cubs are discovered in the process, a desperate rescue mission is launched.
