A 30m elevation model is provided which includes every lump and bump of terrain in the Netherlands. Whilst by and large the Dutch landscape is remarkably flat, the terrain mesh adds depth to the photographic scenery and gives you recognisable terrain with minute topographic detail to further enhance the realism of the photographic scenery.

Interactive Water Bodies - Polish your landing skills on water...

Every dyke, pond, reservoir, lake, river, and esturary in the Netherlands has been designated interactive, giving you moving, reflective water textures, and the option to land float aircraft anywhere in Holland. 

3D Buildings...

To complete the picture, Horizon’s developers have also positioned and scaled all 3D objects specific to the Netherlands that have been provided by Microsoft, to align with the photographic scenery. 

Airports - Full integration with existing FS airports...

VFR Netherlands is entirely compatible with most existing add-on airport sceneries. By simply replacing the scenery surrounding the airports with real aerial photography and elevation data, you can now enjoy flying into and out of the default FS airports, or beautifully crafted add-ons from other designers, with real photographic detail.
