Steve Morse is truly a guitarist's guitarist. His talents span many styles and genres, as his many solo albums will attest to. It is however as guitarist in Deep Purple that many people have come to recognise him. True his work with Deep Purple puts him in the Rock guitarist bracket but as I have already said Steve's solo work and of course his work with Dixie Dregs allows him more room to stretch out musically.
